Next Time I'll Be Braver, I'll Be My Own Saviour.

Life has got me puzzled recently, it's constantly referred to as a 'journey', we're placed upon different 'paths', and our choices map our destinations. But what if you stray off a path?

When you are struggling in life, you often look for the easy path, the most obvious, you lose track of who you really are, and your set 'purpose'. To lose yourself is a tragedy, to lose sight of your chosen path is a fate more terrible, because if you lose sight of your path, you ignore, and are blind to, the twists and turns ahead.

These descisions, and forks in the little dirt track of our lives, are moments which stay with us for years to come, they shape your life ten years later. You end up forgetting the importance of moments like these. You forget the first time your heart breaks, the loss of someone you love, or sinking feeling when someone walks away. The times when you laugh until your ribs hurt, when you feel so happy you could explode, or the emotions a photograph can evoke.

It is these moments, which provide the light, the sometimes dodgy signposts to the path ahead. These moments guide you to love, to contentment, to fulfillment and serenity. To lose sight of yourself, your path and the reason for taking each turn in the road, is a darkening fate. So remember, let these moments guide you, however much you are struggling.
